Jubilee and NASA not fit to lead because of empty talk

Based on how Jubilee and NASA have been conducting their campaigns ahead of the August 8 elections, I would say non of them is fit to lead this country.

Instead of selling their agenda to Kenyans, on what they will do to improve people’s lives if they are elected, they are busy spreading hatred and propaganda.

They think exposing each other’s dark side will win them votes when what every Kenyan would like to hear is how the cost of living will be brought down.

Both have made so many promises. For instance, they say they will offer free primary and secondary education. Why can’t they take some time and explain exactly how this will be achieved.

From where will they get the billions needed to implement the programme and how will they maintain quality?

In mature democracies, politicians respect their opponents and only dwell on issues. Leaders also make promises they can deliver.

It is not just a matter of promising the heaven you know you will not achieve just to win votes. Unfortunately, that is what Jubilee and NASA are doing.
