The death of Churchill foot soldier shocks many

Daniel “Churchill” Ndambuki aka Mwalimu King’ang’i has lost one of his foot soldier who used to put a smile on the face of many comedy lovers.

Makori Nyambane aka Ayeiya Poa Poa died on Thursday night after he was involved in a road accident near the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA.

During the accident, the comedian was in the company of his wife Maina Olwenya and fellow comedian Paul wakimani Ogutu who sustained injuries and were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital.

His death has elicited missed reaction from Churchil show fans especially that Nyambane had just given a super performance before he passed on.

“What?! He was one of the funniest and most creative comedian Kenya has ever had. my condolences to his family and close friends. May his soul rest in peace,” said Bruce Okari.


“Condolences to the family at this trying moment. Kenyans we ought to stand at the gap of our beloved nation & denounce this demonic spirit of premature death. This was one of this year’s prophecies though at times takes things for granted,” said Aidah Tsooni Chege.

Other were still coming to terms with the sad news as they remembered Makori’s times on stage and what he used to do.To them he has left a big gap in the industry with it is hard to bridge.
