UREPORT
By Paul Barasa | January 30th 2017
The Deputy president William Ruto need to go back to the drawing board to keep his political ambitions alive after 2017.Already there are a number of people who are not comfortable working with Ruto.

In the recent past, we have seen the deputy president experiencing hostility from some Kenyans when he visited them. However much he might downplay these hostilities there is something wrong somewhere which need to be addressed immediately.

When the President visits most parts in Kenya he is accorded a warm welcome, unlike his deputy. The deputy president has a political future which he should nature until it is fully grown.

It doesn’t look good when Mr. Ruto goes on undermining other politicians simply because they have differed with him in one way or the other. He should create a good relationship with leaders like Baringo senator Gideon Moi and Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto. This will give him an upper hand of becoming the next president owing to their support.

Going by the allegations that Mama Ngina Kenyatta is unhappy is unhappy with William Ruto’s behaviors towards his son then he need to reconsider his ways. This might make him lose the support of the people who are currently supporting the president.

There have been so many allegations linking the Deputy President with corruption cases. These allegations may work against him in future.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ruto should understand that there is no permanent enemy in politics. He shouldn’t burn the bridge that might help him cross the political river one day.
