Last year, over 5,000
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam candidates suspected of
cheating had their results cancelled.
With limited or no
financial resources, the affected students were left to either repeat their
classes or drop out of school altogether.
All primary and secondary
schools heads must, therefore, take charge of collecting the sealed exam papers
from the strong rooms.
They must also be
responsible managers during the exam period in order to realize leak-free exams
this year.
The buck stops with
them.
