They say love can drive man to do crazy things. A Pwani university student on Sunday afternoon travelled all the way from Sotik town and got the shock of his life after he received public humiliation from his mystery girlfriend he has been pursing for weeks. Source privy to this information reveal that the young man from Sotik town got her number through a friend and had been using all the resources at his disposal to win the lady, a first year student at Kisii University.
The young man persistently tried but the lady had been turning down his offer. The lady unable to resist the young man’s quest, blackmailed him to show up at the south Nyanza based institution and have a one on one talk. Not knowing it was a trap, he thanked his stars for answering his prayers yet the worst was awaiting him.
The young man, well groomed as if he was going to visit his in-laws, stormed the institution at around 3.00 pm and called the fresher.
She showed up but to her surprise, the man insisted on a hug yet they were meeting for the first time, something she couldn’t do. This is was the first spark of trouble.
Armoured with many questions, she quizzed him on how he got her number. Unable to defend himself the young man confessed how a friend had given him a phone number at a local church in Sotik and confessed his love for her.
The tough headed lady gave him a stern warning never to call again before walking him off the school compound. He tried to stop her but his efforts hit a deaf ear. The incidence left onlookers and by passers in uncontrollable and teary laughter’s as the young man left a very disappointed man.
