Dreadlocks for the office

The earliest I remember of dreadlocks was the freedom fighters Mau Mau. Then, and even up to a few years back, the method of creating dreadlocks was letting the natural hair grow without ever combing it. In the long run, the hair would tangle into long twisted ropes of hair. This process, however, takes years for one to achieve the look. It is now faster to achieve the dreadlocks look today — the process is much shorter and can be done using backcombing and special wax. For a long time, dreadlocks were associated with Rastafarians; people who were thought to be rowdy and in some instances marijuana addicts. In the recent past, however, they have become a normal look that can be worn even to the office. You, however, need to realise the office look dreadlocks should be more formal and, therefore, should be well maintained.
