E-Waste Management System Launch

Refrigerators comprise the bulk of the country’s electronic waste followed by televisions and computers. However, growing use of these products and lack of proper disposal mechanisms portends health risks to people and animals. Environmentalists sitting in Nairobi want the government to fast track policies to govern management of electronic waste and companies to put up recycling parts to take advantage of the increasing levels electronic waste.
