Kibaki, Annan, Raila receive honorary degrees

Peace and reconciliation dominated Nairobi University’s 39th graduation ceremony on Friday as the university feted President Mwai Kibaki, Prime Minister Raila Odinga and chief post-election crisis mediator Kofi Annan for their role in saving the country from anarchy following the post- election violence. The three were conferred honorary doctorate degrees in law in recognition for their efforts.
