His peers called him a fat boy, but now the tag is his meal ticket and his ride to the bank. At just 33, Michael Muthiga has been recognised by Forbes magazine twice — in 2014 and 2016, as one of 30 most promising young entrepreneurs in Africa. He is the owner of FatBoy Animations Company, a firm that creates animation for adverts, entertainment and public information. His company is behind the Faiba advert that depicts a boss who struggles with slow internet. His is a story of an art lover who found a way to turn his true passion into money.
