Kenya's social media sensation Elsa Majimbo to attend Super Bowl sports event

The biggest National Football League (NFL) sporting event, is set to take place tomorrow morning.

The Los Angeles Rams take on Cincinnati Bengals Head as they both try to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Amongst the few lucky celebrities to grace the stands of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, is none other than Kenya’s Elsa Majimbo.

Elsa took to social media to announce her newest achievement and broadcast her invite from Tiffany & Co, the company that produces the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

‘’We hope you enjoy your football and invite you to commemorate this year’s Super Bowl with us,” read part of the invite signed by ‘from your friends at Tiffany & Co.”

Super Bowl is one of the most-watched sporting events in the world with more than 100 million fans expected to tune in.

The Vince Lombardi Trophy is awarded each year to the winning team of the NFL’s championship game.

It is named in honour of NFL coach Vince Lombardi, who led the Green Bay Packers to victories in the first two Super Bowl games.

The sports and entertainment tradition is the Super Bowl Halftime Show, which this year will be headlined by hip hop and music legend Dr Dre, who in a rare live appearance will be joined by four of the superstars whose careers he helped launch: Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar.

While the Bengals and Rams meet, they are expected to bring two of the NFL’s most explosive offences to the biggest stage in American football.

These five artistes are set to bring yet an orgasmic 20 to 30 minutes one of a kind show. The element of surprise is one of the best things about halftime shows.

From the unexpected Destiny’s Child reunion in 2013 to Britney Spears, Mary J Blige and Nelly showing up with Aerosmith and N*SYNC in 2003, and Bad Bunny’s drop-in alongside Jennifer Lopez in 2020, unannounced guests have almost become a tradition among halftime performers.

There won’t be too many surprised fans if there is some kind of tribute to fallen rap legend 2Pac, though. Dre and Snoop headlined Coachella back in 2012 and caused a stir when they unveiled a hologram of Tupac Shakur towards the end of their set for a few of his biggest songs.
