Sadly, despite Siaya’s popularity in all aspects in particular music- no one has ever come up with the idea of making an event in its honour.

And for the first time a special event in celebrating the success of Siaya county will take place this Saturday September 29 at Deep West Club and Resort- Nairobi West Kogo Plaza.

The much - anticipated event will feature various top artistes from Siaya – the main one being High riding Rumba maestro and bandleader Johnny Junior and his BV band. Others include Super Limpopo (formerly Limpopo International) led by Musa Juma’s younger sister – also a musician – Milly Fedha Mumbo.
