US-based popular Kenyan entertainer DJ Define, who returned to the country to attend the Pulse Music Video Awards (PMVAs) last week, got a rude shock when he was arrested for a traffic offence.

The DJ was caught exceeding the 50km per hour speed limit along the Thika super-highway by police officers who stopped and arrested him.

“When I left the country two years ago, we didn’t have such rules so I was not in the know. I was only doing 80km per hour when the officers arrested me and told me of the new road regulations. I had to pay a hefty fine to be released,” he said.

DJ Define is in the country until January and will have a number of events while he is here. He has also hinted that he could be getting married.
