Former national women's volleyball champions Kenya Prisons became the second Kenyan team to qualify for the quarter-finals of the ongoing Africa Women Volleyball Club Championships in Cairo, Egypt.

Prisons defeated Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) by three straight sets to join national champions Kenya Pipeline in the last eight as the Kenyan teams continue to fight for the continental supremacy.
