New champions were born after defending champions failed to sail through in the Taita Taveta and Kilifi secondary schools Term Two games that ended on Saturday.

The major culprits were the 2016 East Africa and national girls' football champions St John's Kaloleni, who had not surrendered the Kilifi County title since 2013.
