Although Gold Suits defeated Tack Rack 10-8 on goals aggregate, they will live to remember Raphael Nzomo who scored five goals for the latter in the chase for honours in the Rift Valley Cup at Manyatta Polo Club in Gilgil on Saturday.

Nzomo made it difficult for Gold Suits to pick easy victories with goals at the time of need that forced the two teams to a seven all draw on the first day of the tournament with him (Nzomo) scoring five goals in the four chukka match of the round-robin series.

Jules Camm scored the other goal for Tack Rack as Callum Shaw scored four goals and Geoff Morley a hattrick for the Gold Suits in the first match.

On Saturday, Gold Suits picked a 3-1 victory against Tack Rack for the two teams to end up tied on a 10-8 goals aggregate with the final match set for this morning.
