The African Inland Church has asked the family of the late Luo Council of Elders chairman, Willis Otondi, to respect his Christian faith and accord him a proper burial.

Although the church acknowledges that the deceased will be accorded cultural rights based on his position in the Luo community, they have asked the family to respect his faith.
