In 2006, Mosheh Sang caught the world's attention after he predicted that September 12, 2006, would be doomsday otherwise spoken of in Christian circles as the end of the world as we know it.

Mosheh then led the House of Yahweh sect followers to bunkers in hilly parts of Njoro present-day Nakuru County in preparation for nuclear war which he claimed would mark the end of the world. Members of his church stockpiled food, goggles, and gas masks and moved into bunkers in readiness for the end of the world
