Western Jaguars will host second-placed Kenya Police in a top-of-table affair Kenya Hockey Union Premier League match set to be played at Eregi TTC in Kakamega from 2pm on Saturday.

Jaguars closed the gap between them and Police to within three points after thrashing Strathmore University Gladiators 5-2 last weekend.

The Kakamega based outfit are yet to lose in their last eight matches where despite facing champions Butali Sugar Warriors and other tough sides they are unbeaten.

Third with 21 points, a win for Jaguars will see the hosts move joint top with Police who are second with 24 points.

The service men are winless in their last two matches but also enjoy an eight-match unbeaten run.

Ironically, Police only defeat came at the hands of Jaguars who defeated them 2-1 in Nairobi earlier in the season.

In Nairobi, relegation-threatened Parkroad Badgers will host defending champions Butali Sugar Warriors at City Park.

Parkroad are second last with six points while Butali are unbeaten with 30 points.
