Qambar Somji posted an excellent 73 nett to claim the January 2017 Mug at the par 71 Mombasa Golf Course.

Despite playing mixed bogey shots on the rest of both nines, the handicap 9 home golfer levelled a total of nine pars to emerge the overall winner and claim the Division One trophy.
