Defending champions Tusker on Saturday opened a six-point gap at the helm of the FKF Premier League after narrowly seeing off Bidco 1-0 in a closely contested match played at Thika Stadium on Saturday.

Former AFC Leopards midfielder Clyde Senaji netted the winner in the 15th minute as the brewers picked their fourth consecutive win of the season and cement their position at the top of the standings.

Tusker are currently top of the 2022-2023 season with 12 points, six more than second placed Gor Mahia who have two games in hand.
K'Ogalo were not in action last weekend and will also not be playing this weekend.

Tusker picked a fifth win over Bidco whom they have now defeated four times in their last four meetings.

Bidco have beaten the Brewers only once since they were promoted to the FKF-PL in the 2020-2021 season.

Meanwhile, third placed Kakamega Homeboyz will be eying to pick their first home win of the season when they welcome Ulinzi Stars at Bukhungu Stadium on Sunday.

Homeboyz went down 2-1 to Tusker on their season opening match at Kakamega but bounced back to pick wins against Kenya Police and KCB away in Nairobi.
