Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says his side have lost their mojo after their Champions League hopes took a real blow in Belgrade.

Klopp's side were beaten 2-0 by Red Star in Serbia in what was their second away defeat in Group C.

Klopp believes his side made it too easy for their hosts and simply have to improve for their trip to Paris to face PSG later this month.

The Kop boss said: “For us it was not clicking, it was not easy. We never came back into situations.

“I saw a few games like this already and it is really difficult to find your mojo back.

“I don't say it is already serious if we lose twice but we have to make sure it will not happen again otherwise it will be difficult as the next game is already an away game.

“We have to make sure in Paris that we do better.

“There were a lot of moments when we could get in control of the game and we didn't do, we made the wrong decision.

“It just happened. We will talk about it but tonight we can’t change it.”

Klopp claimed the red-hot atmosphere inside Rajko Mitic Stadium did not affect his players but he admitted they made it too easy for the hosts.

The German added: “We made life a bit too easy tonight for Belgrade.

“That is the main problem. They deserved it in the end with the passion they showed. At the end, you have to score goals.

“If you think how often we were in their box, but you have to make the last decision in the right way and we didn’t. That’s why we lost 2-0.

“They wanted to strike back and they did.”
