Moses Kiptanui is congratulated late 19 August 1992 in Barcelona, Spain after setting a new world record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 8 minutes 2.08 seconds at the Zurich track and field meet. Kiptanui, who missed the Olympics, scored his second world record mark in three days.
