Kenya fail to reclaim men’s under-20 crown, again

Kenya’s hope of winning gold medal crash landed yesterday as Milkesa Mengesha led an Ethiopian 1-2 finish in the Under-20 men’s race at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships Aarhus, Denmark.

Uganda’s Oscar Chelimo won bronze. That was the first time since 1984 that Kenya finished out of medal bracket in the U20 men’s race at the World Cross Country.
