The government is constructing a Sh1.2 billion marine training college. Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya on Tuesday commissioned the project at Chitsakamatsa.

The flagship project, under the East Africa Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project, is being implemented by the government with funding from the World Bank.
