The Open University of Kenya (OUK), established on 3rd August 2023, under section 24 (1) (b) of the Universities Act, 2012, is a specialised institution dedicated to fostering inclusive prosperity in Kenya through accessible, flexible, affordable and quality higher education. President William Ruto presided over the charter award ceremony at Konza Technopolis.
