Professional football leagues around Europe are gearing up for a return to action following the coronavirus stoppage, but some are more advanced than others. Here is a roundup of the state of play:

Germany: Teams have been training since early April and the government is expected to give the green light on Wednesday for a restart, probably from May 15, two people familiar with the preparations told Reuters on Monday.
