English League Cup quarter-final draw results are out- kick-off date confirmed

Matches to be played the week commencing Dec. 16

League Two side Colchester United have been handed a trip to Old Trafford in the fifth round of the Carabao Cup.

The Oysters knocked Tottenham out of the competition on penalties, and saw off Crawley in the last-16 to book their quarter-final tie with Man United.

Oxford United are the only other non-Premier League team left in the competition and they've been rewarded with a home tie against the competitions current holders Man City.

Karl Robinson's League One outfit have also eliminated top flight opponents after beating West Ham 4-0, before a shootout win over Sunderland.

Meanwhile Liverpool are already in talks with the EFL to have their last-eight tie with Aston Villa moved after being drawn away to the Midlands club.

The Red are due to be involved in FIFA's Club World Cup in Qatar that week, with boss Jurgen Klopp threatening to pull his team out if they are unable to play.

Everton and Leicester will battle it out in the final clash of the round with the Toffees' Goodison Park set to play host.
