Equity Bank Chess Club moved two places to fifth in the Kenya Chess Premier League standings after winning their two matches over the weekend at the KCB Sports Club, in Nairobi.

Equity, who are the defending champions, thrashed Daystar University 5-0 with Mathew Kamau, James Panchol, Brian Kadenge, Judith Awinja and Fide Master Stephen Ouma winning their board matches.
