Xhaka, Aubameyang on target as Arsenal climb over Manchester United into top 4

Arsenal put themselves in the box seat for a top-four finish with a 2-0 victory over Manchester United at the Emirates.

The Gunners leapfrogged their opponents into fourth place with the win - and sit just a point adrift of third-placed north London rivals Tottenham.

Unai Emery's men scored a goal in either half with Granit Xhaka breaking the deadlock from long range. The shot swerved and wrongfooted David De Gea in the United goal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doubled their advantage from the penalty spot after Fred felled Alexandre Lacazette in the box.
