Pogba pay tribute to footballer who died during match after Man Utd beat Arsenal 3-1

Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba on Saturday paid tribute to a 15-year-old who collapsed and died during a football match.

French youngster Diego Vitarela is said to have collapsed and died from a suspected heart attack while in action for his side FC Lescar on Sunday last week.

Pogba, who helped Manchester United beat Arsenal on Friday at the Emirates in the FA Cup, paid tribute to the player on Twitter, saying : “I am sure you’re playing football in heaven little buddy, our prayers that God will comfort your family, #diegovitarela.”

According to the SunSport, Vitarela joined the club at the age of seven.

Pogba has scored five goals in six appearances since Solskjaer arrived as interim boss on December 19.

The Frenchman made his debut for United's reserve team when Solskjaer was their manager during the 25-year-old's first spell at the club.
