Football: Zoo Kericho host Kimore Stars

Zoo Kericho Youth will host Uasin Gishu’s Kimore White Stars in a friendly match at Kericho’s Green Stadium this afternoon. Kimore White Stars will use the tie as part of build matches in their quest for the Uasin Gishu league title.

 Team coach Isaac Rono said they were ready for a tough duel. “We have a good team. We just want to test ourselves with a strong team like Zoo Kericho Youth.

We hope to do well and perhaps see if we can play with Zoo Kericho, the SportPesa Premier League side soon,” said Rono. Kimore White Stars bank on Ambrose Korir, Laban Kosgei and Shadrack Chumba for goals. [Jonathan Komen]
