Jose Mourinho refused to have a selfie with a Manchester United fan and security staff had to intervene and question her over the incident.

Leisan Halilova has been a lifelong United fan and could not believe her luck when she managed to get near the United manager and wanted a picture inside the lobby of the Radisson Royal hotel in Moscow.

A video has been taken showing the 23-year-old pursuing Mourinho who is making his way through the lobby in a United tracksuit.

The Portuguese coach had been going for a stroll in the build-up to United's game against CSKA Moscow when he was approached by the fan, but was not interested in having a picture taken.

Security then intervened and questioned Halilova away from the incident. It is believed the fans were then told to leave the hotel.

Halilova had met Mourinho before in her native city of Kazan and was naturally annoyed at the way she had been treated.

She said: "To be honest, I am not one of those women who runs after men. But today I was called mad and was told that I am disturbing everybody."
