Ronaldinho insists he has no regrets over snubbing a move to Manchester United in 2003.

The former Barcelona playmaker was targeted by Manchester United during his time at PSG.

Ronaldinho who ended up joining Barcelona told UK Media outlet The Sun he never saw himself play in England.

“Yes, I could have played for another club, but I went to Barcelona because of my friendship with the then-president Sandro Rosell.

“My brother was already studying what I would do after PSG. I was a World Cup winner then, and that opened a lot of doors.

“But when Sandro was elected, I had the chance to see the club and the city, and the choice became easy.”

The Brazilian playmaker also admits he rejected Chelsea during his Nou Camp stay, adding: “I don’t regret not having played in England, but it could have been special because it’s a fantastic league.
