Gor are back at their home ground, so it is time to fill up the stadium!

It’s good news for the city fans of K’Ogalo; our home matches are now being held in Nairobi.

In these times of high commodity prices, some fans felt constrained to travel to Nakuru, Kisumu, or Thika, which were serving as our tentative home ground.

Not to mention the comfort that comes with Nairobi venues. It is just unmatched. Kasarani, City, or Nyayo stadiums have, for the longest time, been the places to be. A true dream for any club.

And with this turn of events, it can only mean good tidings for the club as more fans are expected to attend the matches, which translates to higher gate collections.

I, therefore, urge our fans to throng the stadiums. Sunday’s attendance at Nyayo Stadium was not to our capability and capacity, though.

Meanwhile, at long last, coach Ze Maria has a striker who is scoring goals. Medi Kagere is rediscovering his scoring boots and that can only mean menace for opponents of K’Ogalo.

With Tuyisenge back from injury, it remains to be seen if he too will be shaking the net. If that were to happen, then the two lethal strikers will combine to score numerous goals.

Watching as K’Ogalo players go through their paces at Camp Toyoyo or Parklands Sports Club – many thanks to the PSC management led by General Manager Jack, you can see renewed dedication to the 'Since 1968' badge.

I know that at times fans have taken to social media to criticise one or several players. The coach advised the players to shun social media for their own good. He advised them to concentrate on playing and their fitness. Above all, he urged them to make K’Ogalo great again.

Our mashemeji have, sadly, dropped from the title race, but I pray they can rediscover their form and rescue their season before it’s too late.

Ingwe are now 11 points adrift K’Ogalo, who are leading in the standings. Just as I predicted, the title race is shaping up to be between Gor, Ulinzi, and Tusker, with Gor enjoying  better form.

Gor are exhibiting champions’ mettle - where you win when you are not at your best, come back from a goal down in a tough match, and force a draw or win.

Did I mention 'Pimo Pass gi ruler plus Grit'? – that is what will win us the league!

Gor Biro Yawne yo (Give way Gor is coming – with the title)!
