Tribunal push Sofapaka and Muhoroni case to March

The Sports Dispute Tribunal (SDT) has set March 2 as the date for hearing a case filed by Sofapaka and Muhoroni to be reinstated back to the top league.

Tribunal chairman John Ohaga asked lawyers for both clubs and Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to make their written submissions by February 28.

This means that both clubs will have to wait until mid-March to know whether they will be part of the top tier league.

The tribunal last week ordered KPL to proceed with the league without Sofapaka, Muhoroni, KCB and Vihiga United by February 25.

It is not clear when the league will kick off as league managers remain quite on the dates.
