Police called to United’s training ground after Phil Jones reports theft of expensive jewellery

Manchester United have called police over fears a dressing room thief is on the loose after designer jewellery went missing, according to the Sun.

The police stormed United’s training ground last week after defender Phil Jones, 24, reported expensive jewellery he had bought for his girlfriend had disappeared.

The England international is understood to have splashed out thousands on a set of stunning diamond earrings for fiancee Kaya Hall before Christmas.

Phil Jones was ruled out of Manchester United’s clash at Leicester City with a hamstring injury.

United thrashed Leicester 3-0 at the King Power Stadium.
