Wahome and Tom Collie were on the mark again for the winners in the third chukka as Kesier scored a hat-trick for Sudbury Investments in the last chukka for the match to end in favour of Devki.

Devki captain Nzomo (Raphael) said they need only to win their next match against Samsung Galaxy this morning in order to lift the title after the race for honours was thrown wide open following Royal Salute’s 8-4 loss to Samsung Galaxy yesterday. “We are determined to win this title after our victory against Sudbury Investments having lost 3-5 to Royal Salute in our opening match on Friday at the same venue,” said Nzomo in a post-match interview.

Wahome who was inspiring during the match concurred with his captain (Nzomo) but noted that it was team work that upheld their victory.

On their part, Gideon said they must win against Royal Salute in order to win the title after a foul start in their opening match, which they lost 3-3.5 against Samsung Galaxy on Friday.

“It is a must win match against Royal Salute in our quest for top honours after a foul start in our opening match against Samsung Galaxy,” said Gideon.

In the Friday Moi Cup matches, Royal Salute defeated Devki 5-3 as Samsung Galaxy walloped Sudbury Investments 3.5-3 goals.
