Just A Band announce return

Just A Band.

Kenyan alternative electronic group, Just A Band is back!

Six years since they took a musical hiatus, a press release directly from their social media accounts was shared on Monday to much delight from their supporters.

After hinting of their return through cryptic posts on social media throughout last year, the quartet will re-unite officially.

The press release “thanked fans for their patience”, “promised new songs and treats”, and also revealed their fourth long-lost member, Jim Chuchu will join Blinky Bill, Mbithi Masya, and Daniel Muli for one last dance.

The Hahe creators are renown for creating Kenya’s first viral music video. They decided to pursue individual projects following a shutdown performance in front of a packed crowd at the Blankets & Wine Festival in 2016 at the Ngong Racecourse.

Their last track, African Kids These Days was uploaded to SoundCloud as they closed the curtains in 2016, while their last video Winning in Life, featuring Grammy-winning Owuor Arunga, was their last visual offering slated for their fourth to-be-released album.
