British astronaut to take part in London marathon from space

British astronaut Tim Peake on Friday said he will be taking part in the London marathon -- harnessed to a running machine 400 kilometres above Earth on the International Space Station.

"As soon as I got assigned to my mission to the International Space Station, I thought wouldn't it be great to run," said Peake, a former helicopter pilot who will be running for the Prince's Trust charity.
