The ‘yes’ and ‘no’ campaigns for the proposed constitution have gone a notch higher with Prime Minister Raila Odinga dismissing those opposed to the draft as hypocrytes and beneficiaries of ill-gotten wealth. Raila says religious leaders claiming the proposed constitution allows abortion are being dishonest and misleading their flock. The ‘no’ campaigns intensified as the kalenjin council of elders joined in opposing the draft constitution.
