Naivasha, Kenya: Police imposter Joshua Waiganjo Karianjahi now says that his ‘blockbuster’ book will be out in a month’s time.

Waiganjo said that the book titled ‘Goodbye police comrades’ would expose the rot in the police force and reveal the whole truth about his incarceration in various prisons.

Waiganjo said that he was in the last stages of editing the book which according to him would cause ripples in the country.

“The manuscript is very safe and the country will in a few weeks get to know the two to three people responsible for my suffering and the problems in the police force,” he promised.

Speaking after a mention of one of his case at the Naivasha law courts, Waiganjo attributed his woes to senior officers in the government.

‘My book will be ready in a month’s time and Kenyans will get to know the real truth about me and those senior officers involved in my arrest,” he said.

Waiganjo said that he was not bitter with anyone but wanted the country to know the whole truth about his arrest and suffering.

He denied that he was a police impostor noting that he dined and wined with senior police officers for over 13 years.

“We have cases of bogus police officers who are arrested after a few days but I was a police reservist for 13 years and I wonder why I was never arrested,” he said.

Waiganjo noted that among the charges he faced was been in possession of police uniforms and wondered which police store had been broken into.

“All these charges have been framed against me by some senior police officers who want to cover themselves but the truth shall be exposed soon,” he said.

On the Baragoi police killings, Waiganjo said that the incident involved senior politicians and some police officers involved in cases of cattle rustling.

“Up to date no one knows how many officers were killed in Baragoi due to the infighting between those senior police officers but this will come out soon,” he added.

He said that the book entails all that transpired before the police officers were sent to the ground and what emerged during the high powered meetings in Baragoi.

“The operation was opposed by some officers but due to pressure from other forces the ill-equipped officers were sent to the killer valley of Suguta where they met their deaths,” he said.

He called on the new government to intervene in his case and have an independent body formed to investigate his arrest as the previous commission was biased.

On his earlier request to meet former PM Raila Odinga, Waiganjo said that he managed to speak to his chief of security staff early in the year.

He said that his incarceration had caused his family untold suffering adding that his future lay with God.
