Nick Odhiambo

He is no doubt the loudest man on radio. If girls were won by loud public acclamation, Nick as pals fondly refer to him, would win hands down. The cool and collected personality appears to count for little, as the brother is still very single.

But then what would Nick be waiting for ? Is it his ‘Joint Admissions Board’ (JAB)?

Nick Odhiambo

"Its very simple really. I am like Big Brother where girls get interviewed and kicked out. Besides I am still young and haven’t gotten the right person for me."

But then he says in case he comes across the right partner some of the qualities he would be looking for include beauty and a woman who is capable of maintaining a family.

Dennis Oliech

Kenyan football striker Dennis Oliech needs little introduction. The 25-year-old footballer plays for France’s Auxerre Football Club and remains one of the richest local celebrities. He has dated a bevy of beauties among them a beautiful news anchor that has since been hitched and a prolific radio personality.

Although the footballer refused to disclose how much he earns it is reported that he is pocketing close to Sh2million a week.

The happy-go-lucky celebrity apparently owns a number of houses within Nairobi’s uptown estates. On top of this, he also owns a fleet of luxurious cars.

His latest investment is a three-bedroom house in Riverside.

But then the big question remains, is he planning to get married? And if so when and what qualities should that woman posses?

Dennis Oliech

Without going into much detail he says it is always important for one to take time before settling down since good things are known to take time.

Oliech also mentions his career as important and the fact that it occupies most of his time.

According to him a good woman should be true to herself and the man in question besides having a mutual understanding about one another.

Pilipili

For almost 10 years Peter Gatonye aka Pilipili has been the chilli spicing up Kenyan showbiz scene. The singer who started off as a rapper but was convinced to sing due to his mellow voice by Tedd Josiah back then has been a revelation with songs Twende Ndani, Morale, Kamata Dame, Ukimwona and Mpaka Che.

Forget his brown coloured hair that announced his arrival as a super singer who successfully won multiple local awards such as Kisima and performed in Europe, USA and East Africa.

Pilipili

A few years ago Pilipili opened his own studio, Chilli Inc where he records emerging talent. He even drives a sleek black Toyota Will VS and lives in a four-bedroom bungalow in a posh estate. As his career takes a stratospheric trajectory, he is also looking forward to tying the knot with his long time girlfriend Emily — a hot siren who works for an airline. The couple has been dating for seven years.

"We are engaged and set to wed before the of the end year," he enthuses. Pilipili adds that apart from beauty, a good woman must have good character and be hard working.

"My love differentiates between Peter Gatonye, her fiancÈe and Pilipili the singer, which always make things work well between us," he says.

Mohammed Ali

He is one of the finest Swahili investigative journalists known for his hair-raising stories in KTN’s Jicho Pevu that has earned him fame and accolades.

But even as Ali continues to make many proud by his unique investigative skills, to the public he still remains a bachelor in need of a partner.

Ali says the nature of his job is time consuming besides being risky, hence his reluctance to get hitched soon.

Mohammed Ali

"The fact that my work revolves around crime has kept away many interested parties who fear for their lives including that of their future children," he says.

But that is not the sole reason for him being single. Ali thinks it not easy to come across a genuine woman.

"Getting a woman who loves you genuinely for who you are away from fame and money is almost impossible," says the celebrity who prefers a beautiful religious woman as his ideal woman.

Jua Cali

There is no single Kenyan artiste who captures the psych of his audiences like Jua Cali. In fact, the moment the Calif Records Genge luminary arrives on stage his trademark watuu rallying call is met with thunderous cheers and ululation. To date, the once skinny — a la Snoop Doggy Dogg look — rapper’s music resonates well with his fans.

The former Jamhuri High School student who used to chill — at Ngazini in Nairobi’s Carlifornia Estate — with his pal Nonini is now known for deft lyrics. His popularity has seen him win several awards and perform in nearly all the top gigs across Africa. He has also rocked USA and Europe as well as clinching nominations for the prestigious awards such as United Kingdom’s Music of Black Origin awards (MOBO) for the Best African Act.

Jua Cali landed a huge deal with Orange telephone service provider that reportedly paid him the sum of Sh15 million.

John Rabar

The rapper drives a white Toyota saloon and resides in an upmarket apartment in the serene Kilimani area, Nairobi. He has been dating his girlfriend for more than half a decade now with no signs of getting hitched.

Admittedly, he announced late last year that his wedding plans were underway but that was it. To date the singer has chosen to shun the topic terming it personal.

"I think it is high time we respected others privacy," he says

But on the qualities he would look for in a woman, he simply says that it is important for one to be herself.

"This is due to the fact that at some point your true colours are bound to come out".
