US gospel diva Damita Haddon is in Nairobi forthe ‘Recharge 2009’ concert. The celebrated singer arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Tuesday at 7.30pm via KLM and headed to her hotel. "Nairobi is a beautiful cool place and am glad to be here. I’m looking forward to having a good time. I expect to see more places in Kenya before I leave. ," she told Pulse. Damita is the wife to Grammy nominated gospel artiste, Deitrick Haddon. ‘Recharge 2009’ will be the first ever two-day international gospel event.
