With a good run in IRB Sevens circuit, KRFU should ensure the trend continues

The national Sevens team can hold their heads high even though they failed to meet their target of a podium finish in the International Rugby Board (IRB) Sevens circuit.

They left the country two weeks ago hoping for a podium finish and at least a major trophy in one of the penultimate legs. They were, however, forced out of the main cup into the bowl competition in England. Even though they reached the quarterfinals of the Scotland leg, they had to contend with a plate semi final finish.
