Man stabs wife to death for cheating

By James Omoro | March 28th 2016

A couple's quarrel ended tragically after the man stabbed his wife accusing her of infidelity.

The couple, who own a bar within Oyugis town, Homa Bay County were said to have been enjoying the company of their clients before things turned nasty.

Witnesses said the man had walked out of the bar and left his wife serving customers before she joined him outside and a quarrel ensued.

"The woman was serving customers before the husband called her out for a consultation. We only suspected something was wrong when the woman began screaming that the husband had stabbed her," said a witness.

The witness said the two had been living in disharmony with the man accusing her of infidelity.

Rachuonyo South OCPD Patrick Onsando said the woman was rushed to Matata Hospital for treatment. She succumbed to the stab wounds as she was being attended to.
