By Standard digital reporter

Former Senator of Bungoma County Mr. Moses Wetangula's bid to recapture his seat that fell vacant following the nullification of his election by the High Court, today received a major boost when the National Organizing Secretary of the New Ford - Kenya party, Dr. Eusebius Mukhwana , ditched the party for FORD - Kenya & vowed to support Wetangula's bid.

Addressing mourners at the funeral of Mzee Gerald Makokha, the father of the Ass. Chief of West Sang'alo sub location Mr. Robin Baraza, Dr. Mukhwana said he had been forced to make the decision due to the lack of democracy in his party.  He said Wetangula was the only leader in Bungoma who is progressive saying that he should be re-elected to the Senate where he was leading the CORD brigade.

He said he will join the Wetangula campaign team and will campaign for him tirelessly until he recaptures the seat.

Present at the funeral was Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi who urged the people of Bungoma County to re-elect Wetangula.
