Blogger Pauline Njoroge: Nyanza towns are better, and cleaner than Central Kenya

As the dead capital debate raged, popular blogger Pauline Njoroge took to Facebook to admit that the Central Kenya region is doing badly compared to Luo Nyanza.
"Been following the conversation around #DeadCapital. Let me tell you Maina, those houses in Nyanza are a site (sic) to behold! But let's go even further. Have you seen their city and towns? Very clean, well-organized, and nice buildings. Wait until you land in Central Kenya towns, the complete opposite.

A place like Maragwa town has no bank. But we will be here bragging that sisi ndio watu smart sana wa biashara, na wale wengine ni wa kurusha mawe. I just keep imagining how things would be like if Nyanza was part of what was called the white highlands where the mzungu really invested in very good schools early in the day, was close to the capital city like Central Kenya has had the opportunity to produce 3 presidents," she posted drawing an avalanche of mixed reactions.
One argued that while Maragwa might not have a bank branch, the tycoons who own local banks such as Equity Bank and Family Bank are from Murang'a.
