EACC reveals it's probing counties for corruption cases worth billions

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) is investigating several corruption cases in counties in which billions of shillings may have been misappropriated.

EACC Chief Executive Abdi Mohamud said they have received 288 reports from the Senate County Public Accounts Committee from 2022 with six of them having been concluded in court, seven of them pending in court while 74 of the matters have been referred to other agencies for action.
