'Cop Shakur' arrested at Kahawa Law Courts

The trio had formed a movement called Fighting Brutality and Impunity [FBI]

Jackson Kuria Kimani, popularly known as Cop Shakur, was on Wednesday arrested at the Kahawa Law Courts, where he had appeared for a scheduled hearing.

Kuria, a former prison officer who rose to prominence during the 2024 anti-finance bill protests for his outspoken stance against government policies, was reportedly apprehended by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and taken to their headquarters in Nairobi.
