Ruto left the country on Sunday for the Europe trip where he met his German counterpart Frank Walter Steinmier.

The head of state also delivered a speech at the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue where he outlined the challenges facing the energy sector amid the current climate crisis.

"That is what makes us equal. Nobody should trample on the rights of others," he said on Tuesday, March 28, in Berlin when he met Kenyans living in Germany.

Ruto also assured that everyone's life, property and business will be protected.

Koome has since then declared the protests illegal and banned any demos whether cleared by police or not.
